Pruner maintenance

Pruners must be kept sharp to avoid damaging plant stems during pruning.  Cut the stem at a 45 degree angle, if on a living stem, and flush if cutting dead wood.  Never use Anvil style pruners on roses. It crushes the stems, and you might as well cut your roses with a club!
We can lubricate, adjust and sharpen all types of pruners. We can even sharpen the saw portion of pole saw pruners.

Hair Shears Sharpened by Bob

Hey.
We are constantly being asked if we sharpen hair shears.  We do not. Our friend Bob Abraham at High Touch Sharpening here in Wichita does! He is factory trained from Bonika Shears, is a longtime groomer, and knows his shears. Check him out at www.topshears.com, or on facebook at www.facebook.com/shearguy.  He's a great guy and a VERY skilled sharpener.
